Pregnancy Options Centre | Chichester (Hybrid Working Considered)

21 hours per week | £19,656 pro rata (£35,100 FTE)

Pregnancy Options Centre is seeking an experienced and compassionate Counselling Team Lead to

oversee and develop our counselling service supporting individuals affected by unplanned pregnancy,

pregnancy loss and post-abortion experiences.

Working closely with the CEO, you will manage referrals and waiting lists, support and oversee

counsellors and trainees, carry a small client caseload, lead safeguarding, coordinate CPD and help

develop the service in line with professional standards and the charity's Christian ethos.

About You

You will be:

• A qualified counsellor with at least 5 years' experience

• Familiar with BACP/ACC ethical frameworks and standards

• An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills

• Experienced in safeguarding and confidential record-keeping

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Competent in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Genuine Occupational Requirements

Due to the nature of the role and client needs, this position is restricted to women under Schedule 9

of the Equality Act 2010. The role also carries a Christian occupational requirement, requiring

applicants to actively support and work within the charity's Christian faith and ethos.
