Chichester Foodbank - Trustee Vacancy - Could you help?

Chichester District Foodbank is looking for a passionate and committed volunteer to join our Board of Trustees, bringing legal knowledge or experience to help guide our charity and support its work in the local community.

Our food bank provides emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people experiencing crisis. Our trustees work alongside the CEO to ensure the charity is well governed, meets its legal responsibilities and continues to make a positive difference to those in need.

About the role:

• Position: Volunteer Trustee with a legal background

• Time commitment: One meeting per month (1-2 hours per meeting) for 10 months of the year (3-year term)

• Location: Chichester District Foodbank, Unit 10, Chichester Trade Centre, PO19 8ET

We are looking for someone who has:

• A legal background or relevant legal knowledge and experience.

• A commitment to the charity’s mission and sympathy with our Christian beliefs and values. 

• The confidence to share ideas, contribute to discussions and think strategically.
