Youth Ministry

Chichester Baptist Youth

Our youth community is all about fun, friendship and growing in faith! Young people can join in for games, activities, trips and meaningful conversations as they discover more about Jesus and build strong friendships in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Sundays

Our youth and young people have two age groups for our 10am Sunday gatherings where they explore the bible in a relevant and engaging way.

We termly have ALL IN Services at 6:30pm where we get the youth band involved, it’s usually a lively service with refreshments and food after. A number of our older youth choose to come to our 6.30pm service regularly.

Mid Week

We have Friday Youth Clubs for two age groups, everyone is welcome including friends of our regular youth and youth from the local area.

Connect is for school years 6-8 and meet at 6pm Learn more

Thrive is for school years 9 - 13 and meet at 8pm Learn more

We love playing games and arrange bowling, fish and chips and lots of other activities to give our youth groups time together in a safe space for developing friendships. Games in the dark is a particular favourite!

Mid Week

On Tuesday nights we provide Discipleship Groups for our youth. From school years 6 through to those finishing 6th form or college.

As part of our aim to help people commit to and become more like Jesus, these groups explore what it means to follow Jesus. They include: Bible teaching, discussion, activities, games and cake!

At Chichester Baptist Church we know how important the safety and wellbeing of each child is. Our volunteers and staff are all DBS checked and attend regular safeguard training to keep us up-to-date with policy and procedure.

We ask that all parents and carers complete a consent form for each child that attends any groups and events

We do our best to provide activities and safe spaces for specific needs, if you are concerned about bringing a child with additional needs feel free to contact us and speak with one our team so we can answer questions and offer any assistance.
