An new Job Role to join the Safe Families and Home for Good team as our new Church and Community Relationships Coordinator for West Sussex and Hampshire.
This is a really exciting role for someone passionate about the local Church, building relationships, and seeing communities come together to support children, families, and finding homes.
As a Church and Community Relationships Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Build and nurture relationships with church leaders, networks and individual Christians.
Inspire and equip churches to respond to the needs of children and families in their communities.
Create opportunities to speak in churches and at events, sharing a message of hope, compassion and hospitality.
Help churches develop communities of care, belonging and support.
Encourage and support people to explore fostering, adoption, supported lodgings and other ways of making a difference.
Recruit and develop a team of volunteer Church Champions, helping to multiply the impact across the region.
The role is 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week) and is a permanent contract, subject to continued partnership funding, with hybrid working and approximately one day a week working in person across West Sussex and Hampshire. (safefamilies.uk)
